Carlshaga drying rack is sturdy, spacious, and durable. We make it from Swedish glulam from Töreboda and hand-paint it in an old-fashioned way. The drying rack’s decorative details are made from the same template as those on my own turn-of-the-century house in Töreboda.
Hanging out your laundry is an environmentally friendly and healthy alternative. Air-dried clothes smell fantastic, and it has been shown that sunlight is the magic behind the scent. The sun also naturally bleaches discolorations. Laundry becomes smoother, clothes last longer, and they feel cleaner and fresher while being healthier and naturally bleaching discolorations.
The drying rack is delivered complete with two painted poles, washing line, rings, and ground mounts. Shipping is included in the price.
All our production takes place in Sweden. We cherish craftsmanship while using modern technology – and we only use sustainable Swedish solid wood materials, with carefully selected timber for each part of every product.
Each drying rack is painted to order and cannot be returned as they are made specifically for the customer.
Assembly tips: Obtain a casting tube made of cardboard from a building supply store. Ensure that the excavation hole is wider than the tube so that cement can be filled both inside the tube and outside for a stable drying rack.
