Carlshaga's candle sleeve is hand-pressed and made of brass. Manufactured by a local producer, Humstorps Metall Moholm. Our aim to preserve Swedish craftsmanship when manufacturing our products is part of our business idea: to engage skilled artisans in Sweden where production and craftsmanship exist. The candle sleeve is designed for our turn-of-the-century candlestick but also fits other candlesticks. It is best suited for taper candles.
The brass sleeve is untreated and should be polished as brass darkens over time. Polish or clean the brass surface with a soft cloth. For deeper cleaning, we recommend gentle, non-abrasive cleaning agents specifically for brass. Always ensure the surface is thoroughly dried with a soft cloth, as water can cause changes to the surface. Remember never to leave burning candles unattended and extinguish them before they burn all the way down to the holder.
