CARLSHAGA FLOWER TABLE IN CARL LARSSON STYLE
Carlshaga's Flower tables, flower stands, and pedestals are finely crafted with multiple levels. The slats on the sides feature the characteristic Jugend ribbed decoration, and the model is manufactured based on an old template found in homes at the beginning of the century. The furniture style is called Carl Larsson style or early 1900s style and fits well in most homes. The flower tables and pedestals make it easy to decorate with plants, especially in homes lacking the deep niches and window sills of the past. 1905 - 1915 The white slatted furniture spread widely, with slats featuring ribbed details as a consistent decoration. These were found in chair backs, table aprons, under flower pedestals, or on dressers. The furniture came in various designs and was often seen in girls' rooms, guest rooms, and working-class homes. They were a more modern variant of the Gustavian white-painted furniture that had become fashionable. The style was called Jugend in Sweden and Germany, but in France and England, it was known as Art Nouveau. Swedish Jugend was more restrained than its foreign counterparts.
