QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROMISE

At Carlshaga, our mission is to contribute to a more sustainable society by designing and crafting furniture with exceptional longevity—pieces that can be cherished and used for generations.

All of our production takes place in Sweden, primarily in Skaraborg, where we work in our own farmhouse carpentry workshop and collaborate with local suppliers. We have chosen to work with Swedish birch and pine, wood species that align with Carlshaga’s design language and are abundant in Sweden. Our goal is to source timber locally, minimizing the need for long-distance transportation and ensuring full control over the manufacturing process.

We also use Swedish limestone, Swedish linen fabric, Swedish linseed oil paint, and Swedish soap. Our stringent quality standards are rooted in traditional fine woodworking techniques, utilizing proven constructions and joints. While we embrace modern technology, we uphold the artisanal spirit, which means that many steps in our production are always done by hand.

We sign every piece of furniture to ensure our customers that it has been crafted with the utmost care and skill. Each signature is a discreetly placed branded stamp located on the underside of the furniture, leaving a traceable mark for future generations.
