Carlshaga's small spill bowl measures 24 cm. The spill bowls are made in Töreboda in collaboration with Helen Davidsson, a ceramic artist, and Töreboda Blomkrukor. Since the spill bowls are hand-thrown, there may be slight variations in size and shape. All the spill bowls are designed to nest inside each other, making them easy to store.
The spill bowl is one of the most beautiful utility items from the past but has now become popular again. Spill bowl means a vessel with a spout and was historically used to separate cream from milk. While its original function has changed, these bowls are practical for mixing, preparing, and serving.
Spill bowl sets can be used for various purposes: for salad, fruit, as a mixing bowl, for baking, for oatmeal parties – you’ll certainly find many uses for your spill bowl. Traditionally, it was used for making yogurt, which explains the pouring spout, and it is sometimes referred to as a "yogurt bowl."
