Carlshaga Peg Rail / Knob Rack / Shaker Rail is inspired by the philosophy of the Shaker movement, which emphasized honesty, functionality, and simplicity. Everything they created served a purpose, made only from the finest materials, with nothing produced unnecessarily.
Every item had its place in the home, and beauty was found in functionality and simplicity.
In our design, we chose not to place the knobs at the center of the rail, allowing more of the rail to remain visible when items are hung. Additionally, we’ve incorporated a finely milled edge and concealed mounting, so no screws are visible.
All our production takes place in Sweden using modern techniques. We use only sustainable Swedish solid wood, with timber carefully selected for every part of each piece
