  NEVER wash in a dishwasher.
  Do not soak or use more water than necessary.
  Do not wipe with a dishcloth. Dry with paper towels after cleaning and let air dry upright.
  
  Vinegar or acetic acid has disinfecting properties, so it can be good to wipe/spray occasionally. Then rinse with water.
  
  Oil your board once a year. Soak it; the more oil absorbed, the better. Use neutral oil like rapeseed or cooking oil. This extends its lifespan and restores its original condition.
