• Carlshaga peg rail / peg board /shaker rail inspired by the Shaker movement philosophy where honesty, function, and simplicity were key principles. Everything crafted had a purpose, using only the best materials, and nothing was made unnecessarily. Each item had its place in the home, and all beauty lay in functionality and simplicity. In our design, we chose not to place the pegs in the middle of the rail so that more of the rail remains visible when items are hung. Additionally, we have added a finely milled edge and concealed mounting so that no screws are visible. All our manufacturing takes place in Sweden using modern technology, and we use only sustainable Swedish solid wood materials, where the timber is carefully selected for each part of every piece of furniture.
