The Carlshaga peg rail is inspired by the Shaker movement's philosophy, where the principles were honesty, functionality, and simplicity. Everything made had a purpose, using only the best materials, and nothing was produced unnecessarily.Each item in the home was meant to have its place, and all beauty lay in its functionality and simplicity.
In our design, we chose not to place the pegs in the center of the rail so that more of the rail remains visible when items are hung. Additionally, the rail features a finely milled edge and concealed mounting, ensuring no visible screws.
All our production takes place in Sweden using modern techniques, and we exclusively use sustainable Swedish solid wood materials, where the timber is carefully selected for each part of every piece of furniture.
